According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the disappearance of four-year-old Marjorie West remains “the great unsolved mystery of the missing” and the second oldest unsolved child abduction case recorded in American history. At the time of Marjorie’s 1938 disappearance, the search for her was one of the largest for a child since the Lindbergh baby kidnapping six years earlier spanning months and see more than 3,000 local people search for the missing Marjorie.
