Duncan McPherson was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. In 1989 he went on a trip to Austria and disappeared after a day of snowboarding. Searches proved fruitless until 2003 when his body was found in a melting glacier, the very same glacier on which he was last seen. Despite officials believing his death to have been an accident, the state of his body leaves behind many questions and his death remains officially unsolved.
